An Opportunity to Learn. A Chance to Lead.
Thank you for your interest in the Iowa Youth Leadership Academy, a unique and interactive program designed to help students explore what it means to be a leader while learning about the cooperative business model and the role electric cooperatives play in their communities.
This virtual academy takes place each fall and is open to high school students who want to develop leadership skills, connect with peers across the state, and explore the unique aspects of cooperatives compared to other businesses.
The 2025 Academy Has Concluded
The most recent session of the Iowa Youth Leadership Academy has wrapped up, but we’re already looking ahead to the next one. Be sure to check back in early fall 2026 for information about how to register and participate.
