What It Means to Be a Member of RVEC

It means more than just receiving electricity—it means owning a share in your local, member-driven cooperative.

You’re More Than a Customer — You’re an Owner

Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative (RVEC) is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric utility. That means we exist to serve our members, not to make profits for shareholders.

When you receive electricity from RVEC, you become a member-owner. You’re part of a local cooperative, with an authentic voice in how it's operated.
